Upstate AIGA Portfolio Review

It is a good opportunity for those students with portfolios to get feedback and critique on presentation, the type of work and the depth of work you have to show to a potential employer. It’s also a good opportunity for you to network and to meet people in the region you’re looking to work in. There are three sessions being offered, Albany, Syracuse & Rochester.

COST:
AIGA Student members: $10
Student non-members: $15

Many of the demos are using open frameworks, along with HTML5 and CSS3 to power the visualizations.

If we can do many of the features we can see in code, the idea is that it takes less processing on your computer’s part, and also not having to load large image/video/flash assets, which kill the download time for the site.
